– Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
– Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
– Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
– Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information
– Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
– Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room

– Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
– Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix
– Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Strong administrative and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as EMR and MedAccess
